Our directors provide leadership for our society, guided by the needs of the community. We're looking for a diverse group of local people to complete the team!

Join our team of Sanctuary Tour volunteers, welcoming visitors, guiding small groups around the sanctuary, and sharing the stories of our rescued animals.

Being a Rescue Animal Carer is a hands-on, physically challenging job, but it is very rewarding!

Help transform our sanctuary grounds for rescued animals. Volunteer 2-4 hours weekly maintaining gardens, pathways and overgrown areas.

Volunteer opportunities run weekly through the year on Mondays and Wednesdays 10:00 - 16:00. Volunteers are provided with a free nutritious vegan lunch.

Opportunity to work in our onsite shop here at Rockaway Park which sells our own Rockaway merchandise and a variety of art work by resident and local artists.

We need a volunteer with marketing and social media skills to help with raising awareness about our project.

Monday morning Volunteer required to collect donations from a local supermarket for food charity.

Volunteers required for various roles within the Best Before Food Store to support the people of Wellington and Rockwell Green.

Items in our Library of Things need care to keep them in good working order. All electrical items need PAT testing, and all items need to be serviced weekly.

Regular or from time to time help with cutting the grass at Westfield Community Garden throughout the season using modern mower and strimmer provided.
