Volunteer Gardener

Are you a keen gardener? We are looking for volunteers to assist in the busy seasons with weeding, watering, and plant changeovers in our beds, borders and parks. Want to be part of South West in Bloom? We enter annually and last year won gold, so we have a lot of potential. This is a very public facing role so you will need to like engaging with others. We are particularly busy in the spring and summer as In Bloom is judged midsummer, therefore this role is a chance to be involved in a large horticultural event too. A reasonable level of fitness is helpful, so is experience but not essential. Weekdays only times by arrangement but flexible. Tools and transport to sites can be arranged, sturdy boots required as clothing cannot be provided.
