Join us for our monthly River Litter Pick on Sat 25th November 2023 at 10:30 AM to help clean up areas near rivers to prevent litter from entering our local watercourses.
This month we'll be meeting at Upper Milford Valley, Yeovil to clear the area surrounding a stretch of the River Wrackle.
We will be meeting at the entrance to the open green space that can be found on Milford Road, just before the 1032 Yeovil Air Cadets base.
If you are coming by car, on-road parking on Milford Road should be possible.
We will provide all the necessary equipment to ensure that we leave the river cleaner than we found it. This is a great opportunity to meet like-minded individuals and make a positive impact on the environment.
Please wear comfortable clothing and suitable footwear as we will be working along the riverbank. We also encourage everyone to bring their own water and a snack.
Help us keep our rivers clean and healthy for generations to come.
