The end of life care volunteer service is a new service for Weston General Hospital which we are recruiting for currently. Volunteers offer time, care and compassion at the bedside to those who have been identified as in the last phase of their lives. This support may involve listening and talking to patients and their loved ones, reading or sharing music to offer comfort, or simply being a quiet presence at the bedside.
