The Receptionist role will involve greeting customers and asking them to sign in. You will also be required to answer the telephone and collect statistics using a simple tick sheet. You will also be taking payment for drinks and other items. We use a card reader with a tablet computer, so familiarity with these items would be useful but not essential as training will be given.

Tea and Coffee Maker will be required to make and serve hot and cold drinks to customers. You will also be required to wipe down chairs and tables in between customers.

The roles are interchangeable and you will be working with one other volunteer. Roles can be swapped on a weekly basis if required. PPE will be provided and there are screens on reception and hand sanitiser is freely available.

We currently have vacancies on a Wednesday morning and Friday morning between 9.30am and 12.30pm.

The North Taunton Partnership runs the Priorswood Community Centre. The Centre acts as a community hub for residents of North Taunton to socialise, learn, find information and keep fit. The Centre also signposts people to other organisations where necessary and hosts outreach services from other organisations to give them a local presence. The Centre organises community events throughout the year to provide free or low cost activities.
