Detailed description
"Teach people new to gardening and help elderly residents to plant up and maintain small communal areas.
Ideas for small scale projects suitable for elderly people to be able to do and maintain.
Approx 3 hours per month.
Volunteers must live or work locally. This volunteer opportunity is available at:
- Ingrams Meadow, Watchet TA230EU
- Orchard Way, Timbersombe TA24 7TU"

Many schemes have a communal room, available for residents to use for socialising and activities. Some also have guest rooms, available for residents families to stay, for a small charge. Most schemes have gardens or other outside areas for residents to enjoy.
Some of our sheltered housing is situated close to town centres, within easy walking reach of shops, buses and local facilities. Other schemes are set in peaceful, rural locations in villages throughout Dorset and Somerset."
