Summary
We run an online Harry Potter Club for disabled people. Most live in and around Somerset but we also have a regular participant from Kent.Detailed description
We run the Harry Potter Club for one hour every Friday at 3pm. We have six regular participants and from time to time, we may get more during half terms or holiday periods.
The group tend to start with a catch up, then talk about what Harry Potter items they have seen on TV or in the shops, before we settle in for a quiz. The quiz is themed each week and takes about 30 minuits. If there is time, we share a short clip from one of the films
We are looking for a volunteer/s who like Harry Potter and would be willing to join in as an active participant or ideally, lead the sessions.

Leonard Cheshire is working hard to ensure disabled people are able to engage with their local communities with the support of a network of local volunteers. We are running face-to-face sessions like art clubs, online activities like Harry Potter Club and we are reaching out for people to become befrienders for those people living alone or within one of our local services.
