Detailed description

Our Furniture Bank is urgently seeking some strong driver's mates who are available for a couple of afternoons each week on Wednesday and Thursday/Friday. We regularly pick up and deliver quite heavy furniture and white goods, so it does need to be people who are happy and competent to carry things as heavy as a washing machine. Must be over 18. If interested, please do call us on 01373 488578 or email [email protected] Gain skills and confidence, work as part of a happy team. Great experience for the CV. Structured supported routines. This is a voluntary post and it would be great if candidates are available for a couple of half day sessions a week from the following times - Wednesday afternoon 1 - 4 pm, Thursday 1 - 4 pm, Friday 9.30 - 12 noon

About Fair Frome

An organisation working with local people from all backgrounds to promote greater equality
Fair Frome champions greater financial, educational, social and health equality for people living in Frome and the surrounding areas.

We work alongside communities, families, individuals, volunteers, partner agencies and other stakeholders to create joined up, sustainable services, support innovation, raise awareness of the issues of poverty and increase participation across Frome.

Our projects include running the town's food bank & regular community lunch events.

We are working with the Living Wage Foundation to raise awareness of the Living Wage and encourage local employers to become 'accredited living wage employers'.

This year we are also focusing on accessibility issues in Frome under the banner 'Access for All'.
