Non-Executive Director

It is our mission to make counselling available for anyone who needs it, when they need it, putting individual and community wellbeing at the heart of what we do and how we do it.

We are now recruiting Non-Executive Directors to support the growth of our Community Counselling Services.

Here at Community Counselling Cic, we have recently celebrated our six-year anniversary, having delivered counselling sessions to almost 900 people.

In this time we are proud that we have grown our services. Our trading and grant income has increased and our offer of free and affordable counselling has been extended to more people, responding quickly to provide support when and where it is needed.

Whilst our journey began in Wellington, people from neighbouring areas began to reach out for support. Through the replication of our successful community counselling model we have expanded, and this year we changed our name, to better encompass all the communities with whom we work.

We are looking forward to our future growth and development so we can reach even more people who need help.

We are inviting motivated and passionate people to join our vision for:

Key Dates

12 June - online Questions and Answers 10am-12pm – Please contact us via the ask a question link to book your place to discuss the role with our Executive Director, Rhonda Lovell, Anna Disney, Practice Manager and Judith Smith, Director.

6 July - noon - recruitment closes.

10 July - shortlisting and successful applicants invited to an interview.

24 July - 60-minute interviews will be held online in MS Teams with Executive Director, Rhonda Lovell, Director Judith Smith, Practice Manager Anna Disney and Counsellors.

14 August – 10am - 60-minute induction online or face-to-face depending on NED’s location.

21 August - Board Meeting – in person (Wellington) at 10am-1pm to include brunch.
