Summary

We are now recruiting an experienced Chair to support the growth of our Community Counselling Services.

Detailed description

It is our mission to make counselling available for anyone who needs it, when they need it, putting individual and community wellbeing at the heart of what we do and how we do it.

We are now recruiting a Chair and Non-Executive Directors to support the growth of our Community Counselling Services.

Here at Community Counselling CIC, we are now in our eighth year of operation and have successfully delivered over 10,000 hours of counselling support to people in our local communities across Somerset and Devon.

Initially established as Wellington Counselling CIC, it was not long before people from neighbouring areas began to reach out for support. Through the replication of our successful community counselling model we have expanded, and last year we changed our name to Community Counselling CIC, to better encompass all the communities with whom we work.

We are proud of how our services have grown as this reinforces the success of our Community Counselling model. Our trading and grant income has increased and our offer of free and affordable counselling has been extended to more people, responding quickly to provide support when and where it is needed.

We are looking forward to our future growth and development so we can reach even more people across the South West who need help.

We are inviting motivated and passionate people to join our vision for:

“a community where wellness is possible for everyone, wherever they are”

If you are as passionate as we are about helping people to achieve good mental health and wellbeing we would love to hear from you.
