We are looking for someone who can both support a couple of members to prepare and cook lunch and also to cook occasionally.
You will be playing a key role in our kitchen on a Thursday. We offer a lunch to our members each week. A few of our members have gained their Food Hygiene certificate to enable them to be in the kitchen preparing and cooking food. You would be in the kitchen to support these members and also to cook occasionally. This role will also enable you to learn about peer support and engage with our members. We will have a rota of people who can cook so it isn’t always the same person cooking each week.
The best person for this role will be warm, friendly and good at being organised. You will have experience of cooking and ideally have a Food Hygiene certificate, although we can arrange for you to obtain one if needed. You will be comfortable working alongside others.
A willingness to get involved and be reliable. You may have lived experience of mental health and recovery and be able to share experience to support, empower and bring hope to others. This is valued in Watch.

About WATCH CIO
Watch has big ambitions to end isolation for people experiencing mental health difficulties. We know how connecting people with shared experiences of mental health challenges can empower each of us, which is why peer support is at the heart of everything we do. People thrive when they can maintain their own wellbeing, build self-resilience and develop skills. Supporting that journey is what Watch is all about.
