Looking for a way to give something back to festive season? Why not ‘lend an elfing hand’ by volunteering with us, and help make a difference for a few hours?
This Christmas season we’re calling on the public to take some time out of their busy lives, even if only one afternoon can be spared, to donate the gift of time at their local store. It couldn’t be easier - just choose a date that works for you, pick your local BHF branch, sign up and start spreading the festive joy by volunteering as a BHF elf. What better way to get into the Christmas spirit than supporting a charity whilst sporting a Santa hat and some tinsel?
Heart and circulatory diseases can affect anyone and everyone; in the UK alone these diseases kill 1 in 4 people. We are committed to changing that, and beating the heartbreak caused by heart disease, stroke, vascular dementia and diabetes. Our volunteers have a huge impact on raising money through our stores, and your support can help. Get in the Christmas spirit, eat some mince pies, and do your bit this festive season for a few hours! Even one afternoon would be great!

Our retail shops help raise funds to fight heart disease through selling generously donated items from the general public. Many of the people helping run our stores are volunteers, and we rely on their selfless help to keep our stores running.
