If you love sorting and selling at car boot sales this is for you! Help raise much needed funds for animals in need and have fun doing it!

Detailed description

Aim of volunteering role: We are very grateful for all donations which are given to the charity, many of which are used directly for the rescue’s benefit. There are always none-food items which are surplus to requirements at the centre but are equally as valuable to us, as they can be sold to raise much needed funds for the animal rescue work done by the charity. In order to make the most of these donations, there is a need for a volunteer(s) to sort the donations and take suitable items to sell at car boot sales on the charity’s behalf.

 

Tasks:

· To regularly sort through none food donations at the centre

and store appropriately according to use

· To identify suitable items for sale at car boot sales

· To take items to car boot sales and sell on behalf of Happy

Landings Animal Rescue

· To be friendly and helpful to all members of the public you

may come into contact with whilst selling at the car boot

sales on the charity’s behalf

· To follow all instruction and training given including Health &

Safety

 

Time commitment: To suit you

 

Where: Happy Landings Animal Rescue, Pye Hill, Pylle, Shepton Mallet, Somerset, BA4 6TG. Any car boot sales.

 

What you need to have:

·  This role has a minimum age of 18

·  Interest in the animal charity work of Happy Landings

Animal Rescue

·  An organised approach for sorting, and the ability to get on

with tasks independently

·  A friendly outgoing personality and confidence to sell!

·  Your own vehicle, drivers license and appropriate insurance,

or access to a vehicle if not driven by you with appropriate

insurance

· Good mobility as lifting and carrying will be involved
