Summary

Yeovil Rivers Community Trust dormouse survey at Sutton Bingham Reservoir

Detailed description

Join us on Fri 24th November 2023 at 09.30am at the Sutton Bingham Reservoir fishing lodge in Yeovil, BA22 9QP.

Our monthly dormouse surveys are an amazing opportunity to learn about one of Britain's rarest mammals. On each survey, we check a portion of the 93 nest tubes located at Sutton Bingham Reservoir to monitor for signs of nesting activity and hopefully enjoy the chance to record a dormouse to help support habitat enhancement.

This event is perfect for nature lovers of all ages and abilities, and is a great way to get some exercise, fresh air, and sunshine. No surveying experience required.

Getting there

We will be meeting outside the fishing lodge at Sutton Bingham Reservoir. Parking is free.
