YMCA Taunton is seeking a dedicated IT Adviser to join our team on a volunteer basis. Your expertise will help us ensure our IT infrastructure runs smoothly, allowing us to continue providing essential services to the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- IT Equipment Setup: Assist with the installation and configuration of computers, printers, and other hardware.
- Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance to ensure all IT equipment is in optimal working condition.
- Network Issues: Troubleshoot and resolve network problems to maintain a stable and secure environment.
- General IT Advice and Queries: Provide support and guidance to staff and service users with their IT-related questions and concerns.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proficient in various IT systems and networks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Patient and able to explain technical issues in a simple manner.
