Summary

Our Wednesday volunteers help with a range of outdoor woodland jobs to support our little community. 2.00-4.30pm every Wednesday.

Detailed description

Helping with woodland management and general maintenance of the land & garden - clearing overgrown areas, chopping wood, gardening/horticulture, planting seeds and growing vegetables, herbs & flowers, cutting grass, etc. Volunteers need to have a reasonable level of fitness and mobility to be able to get around the site.


Refreshments and cake are provided and lunch together once a month.

Put Windsor Hill Refuge into Google Maps (if you put the post code into your satnav you will be directed to Mendip Fireplaces! Follow lane down to Rock Farm and keep going straight on and you will arrive at WHW.

About Windsor Hill Wood

We are a family-based community set in a woodland smallholding, offering Christian hospitality to people going through a hard time. We also have volunteer days and outdoor, woodland-based courses for people who feel time with us would be a benefit to them.
