We are looking for a Session Manager to run our Parkinson's Walking Football session on a weekly basis

Weston super Mare AFC have recently started a Walking Football Session for people living with Parkinson's which runs on a Wednesday morning between 10-11am, followed by a social gathering in the club house afterwards.

The role will manage all aspects of the session, including the setting up of equipment, taking payment from the attendees by cash/card, running through a warm up session followed by a friendly game. After the session, equipment will need to be put away, and the pitch and changing rooms locked and left safe and secure. Cash received as payment is to be paid into the club after the session.

The Session Manager will report to the Head of Walking Football, and provide weekly stats including number of attendees and income taken.

This is a great opportunity for someone to help those living with Parkinson's enjoy  the physical, mental and social benefits that come from playing the Walking Football.

Experience of managing group sports activities would be an advantage, as would some knowledge of Parkinson's. First Aid Certification required, or training can be arranged and costs reimbursed. Support from club members will be available at each session.

This role is suitable for a team working on a rota basis.
