Corporate volunteers will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our shop. This hands-on role offers a great opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cause while gaining insight into the retail and charity sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sorting and organising donated items to prepare them for sale
- Assisting the e-commerce team with online listings and communicating with customers (e.g. eBay support)
- Providing friendly and helpful customer service on the shop floor
- Preparing clothing for sale, including steaming, tagging, and sizing
- Scanning and processing books, DVDs, and other media items
- Supporting with moving and arranging furniture, as well as merchandising the store
