Westfield Community Garden volunteer

About the project

Westfield Community Garden will provide a real change for the local area. It will complement St Peter’s Community Centre and help to address loneliness, empower residents, and provide a much-needed green space that local people can be truly proud of.

The site will be welcoming and attractive with a year-round focus on wellbeing, learning and sustainability. It will also be a place where people of all abilities and backgrounds will build strong community connections. The intention is to open to the public during summer 2021.  

What is involved?

We are looking for community minded individuals who would like to support the community garden in various roles.

An expression of interest is required initially, then we can discuss with you the type of activities you would like to help with /that we require. You will be based at Westfield Community Garden and supported by the Volunteer Manager.
