Summary

We are seeking a volunteer hairdresser to provide a hair cutting and styling service to the women we support in our Women's Centre in Bridgwater.

Detailed description

As a volunteer hairdresser you will come into the centre once a month to cut and style women's hair, to promote self-care to the women we support in the Women's Centre.


We are flexible with what days and hours you volunteer, this can be agreed prior to starting.


You will need to be trained to a minimum NVQ Level 2 in Hairdressing and have your own Liability Insurance. This role includes 1-1 appointments with the women accessing the women's centre.


Our women's community services are designed to support women and their families with a focus on trauma-informed, gender-responsive care. These services include one-to-one sessions, group work, and access to specialist support.
