We are looking for an experienced listener to support our team and women by offering a listening ear to women accessing our centre.Detailed description
The Nelson Trust Women’s Centre supports women in a trauma informed approach, who are experiencing multiple and complex needs. We provide lunch club to women twice a week at our Somerset Women’s Centre.
Are you passionate about supporting women in a holistic, gender responsive, trauma-informed way to achieve long lasting change?
Are you flexible, reliable, and able to take initiative?
We are looking for an experienced listener volunteer to support our team and women, to provide a friendly, understanding and non-judgmental listening ear to women accessing our centre. Volunteer positions require a DBS which will be funded by The Nelson Trust.
