Our cafe is a buzzy, happy place where we welcome everyone for drinks and low cost food. We'd love to find another volunteer to join our team who likes to cook!
The Good Heart cafe is open Monday's & Tuesdays 1130am - 230pm and we are looking for a volunteer to support the cafe on a Monday with cooking simple food such as jacket potatoes.
Shift time would be 10-2:30pm
Tasks include:
- Cooking and preparing simple food - jacket pots, soup, salads.
- Greeting and serving customers
- Tidying up and clearing tables
- Washing up
This is a great opportunity to spend time in a supportive chatty environment which could be good for getting work experience, increasing confidence and developing skills.
Please do apply if you like cooking - no qualifications needed. Just the ability to keep track of orders and serve up in a timely and calm manner!
