Summary
The Community Youth Project is looking to help establish an independent community group who will have responsibility for supporting youth provision.Detailed description
The Community Youth Project is looking for adult volunteers to establish a constituted community group who will take responsibility for governing youth provision in Tintinhull.
Group members will be supported to establish a small charity or constituted group.
The group will have responsibility for fundraising and liaising with youth work providers.
Volunteers do not need any previous experience in being a trustee or running a charity.
We are looking for people who want to make a positive difference to the lives of young people living in Tintinhull.
You will need time for meeting initially twice a month and then once the group is established and constituted, monthly.
We are looking for a minimum of three people.
You will need to provide references and we will support you with DBS clearance.
All welcome , especially anyone with previous experience of participation in formal groups or forums such as school governors, parish councils, or anyone with previous trustee experience or running a business.

In the face of this, a number of local councils in South Somerset who were dedicated to supporting their young people got together to explore the provision of a sustainable youth worker resource which could be efficiently employed across their communities.
