Summary
Can you help us to identify groups (such as Rotary & WI),schools and businesses in your local community and encourage them to support us?Detailed description
We’re looking for volunteer Community Ambassadors to play a vital role in helping us reach new audiences, raise awareness and generate income to continue moving closer to our goal.
Ambassadors will seek out opportunities to speak to, and build relationships with, community groups, organisations and businesses, raising awareness of our work and encouraging action through giving, campaigning and volunteering.
In addition to public speaking opportunities, you may attend events of our behalf, such as business networking meetings, fundraising events, community fetes, galas and more.
You will work closely with your local Children’s Society Community Relationship Manager for support and mapping out opportunities within your community.
What we will provide to volunteers
💸 Reimbursement of costsAbout The Children's Society
"Right now in Britain there are children and young people who feel scared, unloved and unable to cope. The Children's Society works with these young people, step by step, for as long as it takes.
We listen. We support. We act.
There are no simple answers so we work with others to tackle complex problems. Only together can we make a difference to the lives of children now and in the future.
Because no child should feel alone.
Our supporters around the country fund our services and join our campaigns to show children and young people they are on their side."
