We have a very special opportunity for someone who is interested in training to be a Lifeguard. For the right individual, we will consider paying up to 50 percent of costs for a Lifeguard training course. (You would have to find a course that suits your availability.) In return, we ask that you make a commitment to being a Lifeguard for our club on a Tuesday evening at Sherborne at least once a fortnight for 2 years. (This is the period for which the qualification remains current before the person requires reassessment). You would be qualified with a Royal Life Saving Society National Pool Lifeguard Qualification on completion of successful training which is a recognised professional qualification which, with a further small reassessment, could be used at other public pools in the country.
