Apollo Swimming Club requires drivers for their Transit minibus.

The requirement is Saturday morning when the club swims at Goldenstones, Yeovil and on Tuesday evening when we swim at Sherborne sports centre.

Our passenger members generally have good mobility, sometimes requiring help with the bus door. From time to time, a passenger member may be a wheelchair user requiring use of the electric ramp and tie down straps.

A driving duty requires self-transport to an address on the Lynx Trading Estate, transferring to the bus, collection of members in the Yeovil district and delivery to the relevant swimming pool. The process is then reversed. Time scales on Saturday are 8am-11am on Tuesday 17.30pm- 21.30pm.

The bus is 3 years old with a manual gearbox and can be driven by a private individual with a clean licence, category D1.
