Fundraising Volunteer

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

We are on the lookout for a fundraising volunteer to join our Committee and they can decide themselves how they’d like to take things forward.

If you’re looking for a new challenge, to gain valuable experience of supporting a small charity (within a large national charity) and making connections with liked minded helpful people then this could be what you are looking for. We hold monthly coffee mornings to support everyone in our MS community and these are ideal for you to come all, bond with the wider group members as these people can in turn support you at collections. Win-win 😊

This role can be as big or small as you like. Over the last 10 years we’ve held collections at supermarkets, garden centres, sports events and most recently had the privilege of a collection at Taunton Racecourse.

We’ve held fundraising events at Christmas & Easter at a local working man’s club.

We were invited to hold our own Raffle at a Bingo Night for a Rugby club. We’ve provided a large Hamper to raffle at a Race Night.

These are just examples of what we’ve done so far but you can choose how you would like to move things forward and you’ll have support from our committee. We’re looking forward to hearing your idea’s.

You can choose where and when you’d like to hold your events. We have a Facebook page and an email Newsletter to share all your events with all our group members.

All funds raised will go directly to our small group. Helping people with MS in our, area covering from Axbridge to Wellington.
