About Take Art

Founded in 1987, Take Art is a pioneering Somerset-based charity that creates life-changing opportunities for people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities to experience, participate and work in the arts. Our theatre, dance, music, early years and rural touring activity, produced in partnership with other organization’s (both arts and non-arts), is often targeted at the most disadvantaged, including people living in rural areas and those who don’t access the arts for economic, social or psychological reasons.
