Administrator required for the office at St Mary's Church. This role would possibly suit someone with children at school and who has office experience
The role is to assist the vicar with the administrative duties of working within a church. Arranging meetings, liaising with external organisations, taking letting bookings, taking calls, helping with the website, liaising with the churchwardens and other members of the PCC. Typing service sheets, assisting with power points (training can be given) etc.
We are hoping that in the not too distant future we will be able to pay an hourly rate for this role.
We have had a Government Covid Recovery of £20,900 which has enabled us to create a wonderful café area where we can welcome lots of community groups into the church. This project is funded by the Culture Recovery Fund for Heritage. The Culture Recovery Fund is being delivered by The National Lottery Heritage Fund and Historic England, using funds provided by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport.
The café area should make St Mary's Church an exciting place to work.
