About South Somerset District Council - Community Heritage Access Centre

South Somerset District Council, Community Heritage Access Centre, (CHAC) based at Lufton Depot is an Accredited Museum which cares for around 30,000 objects and 6,000 photographs. The objects tell the story of Yeovil and South Somerset from prehistoric times to the modern day and a collecting policy follows these criteria.
