We are looking for volunteer coaches and helpers to support our teams for over 300 local children. No experience is necessary as full training will be given.

Volunteering as a coach for a youth sports team, such as Somerton Town Youth Football Club, can be an incredibly rewarding and impactful experience. Not only does it provide an opportunity for adults to give back to their community and make a positive difference in the lives of young people, but it also offers a range of benefits to the children themselves.

Participating in organised sports can promote physical fitness and healthy habits, which can have lifelong benefits for children. Additionally, being part of a team can help children develop important social skills, such as teamwork, communication, and leadership. Through practice and competition, young players can also learn important life lessons about perseverance, sportsmanship and respect.
