Leads inclusive Sporting Memories sessions, engaging participants through sport, conversation and reminiscence to boost wellbeing, connection, and community.

Session Facilitator: 

–       To plan a programme of activities and ensure that the resources and equipment required are available. 

–       Keep records up to date (register). 

–       Ensure the smooth running of the club. 

–       Respect club participants’ contributions and ensure that every individual is allowed the time needed to contribute. 

–       Ensure that the organisation of breaktime is a shared responsibility. 

–       Be aware of adult support and protection issues. Ensure there is a volunteer present in the building during the session, and that participants remain safe within the club. 

–       Ensure that health and safety issues are addressed. 

–       Involve club members in decision-making. 

–       To attend training courses as required. 

–       Meet with the Volunteer Coordinator to discuss progress. 

–       Advise the Volunteer Coordinator if there are concerns about the running of the club or participants.

About Somerset Cricket Foundation

The Somerset Cricket Foundation exists to support, grow and diversify grassroots cricket as well as to use the power of cricket to develop communities and make a positive difference to people’s lives. The trustees of the Somerset Cricket Foundation are all volunteers and they oversee a team of ten full-time and one part-time members of staff to deliver the strategic aims and objectives of the charity.
