Detailed description

"There are over 60,000 unpaid carers in Somerset supporting a loved one who is elderly, ill or disabled. Help make their life a little better! Somerset Carers Service is looking for friendly, approachable people to help make sure local Carers Group runs smoothly. These group give Carers the chance to take a much needed break, socialise and access the support they need. We are looking for volunteers to support the Carers Support Group in Dulverton. The volunteer would be required to: - Make reminder phone calls to group members/guests prior to the meetings - Meet and greet members/guests at the meetings - Make tea and coffee" "The Dulverton Carers Group meets at Exmoor Medical Centre, Oldberry House, Fishers Mead, Dulverton, Somerset, TA22 9EN on the First Tuesday of the month 2pm-3:30pm."

Somerset Carers links individuals to groups & events in their area. It also finds facts and information that will help the person that is being cared for with their particular needs."
