Work alongside professionals to support vulnerable older adults to enjoy gentle activities in a group setting.
Martock and South Petherton Surgery and Somerset Carers Service are working together to provide a Carers Support group alongside gentle activities such as boccia, art and conversation for the people they care for.
We need someone to support our qualified instructor, working to facilitate the enjoyment for the attendees and to get their carers should there be any anxiety (eg toilet needs) from a nearby room.
The group will be monthly (Third Thursday of the month in the morning for 2 hours) and there will be training and access to the volunteer resources and information provided by Spark Somerset.
