Summary

SeaVenturers is a new youth group for young people aged 9-11 in Frome. We are seeking a Fundraising Volunteer to assist with raising essential funds

Detailed description

SeaVenturers is a new youth group for young people aged 9-11 in Frome providing fun activities to build confidence, team work and skills.

We are seeking a fundraising volunteer to lead on different types of fundraising, such as trust and foundation applications, letters of appeal, community events and challenge events. You will have support and training, if required, from the fundraising team.

This is a hugely rewarding role helping young people learn new skills, build confidence and thrive. As one of our cadets says:

“Since joining SeaVenturers I’ve made new friends, learned new skills, and had lots of fun doing STEM and active activities. I can feel my confidence growing. I’m happier answering questions now, helping others in my group, and I even helped lead some of the taster sessions at our open evening!” Maryam - aged 10

The group meet every Tuesday evening, however, this role can be done remotely at hours that suit the volunteer.

All our volunteers require a DBS check (paid for by us).
