Join us for this year's 18 hour Big Bag Pack at Tesco in Yeovil. Shifts run between 6am-midnight - help us spread the Christmas cheer and raise some pennies :)

Join us for this year's Big (supermarket) Bag Pack! Over the last seven years, we've raised over £23,000 from the generous shoppers at Tesco Extra in Yeovil!

We welcome children (U14s with a responsible adult), friends, colleagues - anyone who's willing to join in the Christmas spirit and help us out for a few hours to do a bucket collection around the store or to give lots of Christmas smiles...hopefully in return for a few pennies 🙂

Choose your shift/s between 6am and midnight on the 23rd December - we'd love to see you there!

Please use the form below to show us you'd like to help and we will then email you our sign-up form which has the hour slots available (we can't add it here, unfortunately).

Thank you!

About School in a Bag

School in a Bag provide bright red rucksacks full of essential resources to children worldwide affected by poverty, displacement, natural disasters and conflict, enabling them to write, draw, colour, calculate, express themselves, eat, drink, wash and above all, learn.

A typical SchoolBag contains: 12 pencils, 10 biro pens, 12 colouring pencils, a maths set, ruler, pencil case, 6 exercise books (line/square/plain), a water bottle, a Lunch Box and Spork and a hygiene pack comprising toothbrush, toothpaste, flannel and soap.
Our first SchoolBags were distributed in Swaziland in 2009 with Shelterbox. Since then, over 142,000 bags have been delivered in 55 countries including refugee SchoolBags provided for displaced children and young people relocated to the UK.
