Visit a lovely older man with a learning disability, enjoy a cup of tea in the garden with the birds, or head to the pub!
When we are gone we want to know that somebody is looking out for our children. This is even more the case when your child has a learning disability.
If you could spare just 30-60 mins every two months then you could be the person making sure this happens for one man in Burnham-on-Sea.
This charming 69 year old gentleman loves looking after the birds in the garden, always makes time for a pub lunch, and rarely says no to a bit of cake or a chocolate biscuit!
We are looking for a volunteer to give just a little time to drop by for a visit, share a cup of tea and see what he has been up to. You could even meet him out and about - he likes a pub lunch!
If you are a calm and kind person who enjoys taking time out to relax, this could be just the role for you. Please do get in touch.
