Summary

Share a cup of tea with a charming older lady. Make a big difference with just one visit every two months!

Detailed description

Do you want to bring joy to a person with a learning disability? Could you spare just an hour every two months? Do you like tea?

If your answer to the above was yes, please read on!

We support a charming older lady with a learning disability who has only recently moved to Wellington, Somerset. She has settled well into her new home but would love a kind and patient visitor to pop by for a chinwag. She has some family but they mostly live quite far away, so your visit would be really valuable.

She is a sweet and chatty lady who loves welcoming people into her home for a catch up. She also likes to knit, so it could be a shared activity.

You will love seeing her face light up when you arrive. She loves visitors!

You would receive thorough support from Mencap and also the wonderful support team at her home.

Visits will be in the home and will be around an hour.
