Summary
As our project grows, we need extra volunteers to help with activities on offer at our community hub.
Detailed description
Root Connections is growing!
We are getting ready to launch our hub which we anticipate will become a hearth for our community. If you are interested in helping out with events, workshops and courses in and around the hub from November, please contact Joely, Hub Coordinator.
We are very much in our infancy but once we are up and running there will be a full weekly timetable of events that require helping hands. At Root Connections our primary focus is supporting vulnerable adults at our onsite hostel and around Somerset. However, we will also put on events for other demographics including children. Our offering will span weekdays, weekends and evenings, and you can get involved as much as you wish. Think everything from crafting for adults, to helping at seasonal events for kids, to manning a stall at our Christmas market. You could even run your own course or workshop if you feel inspired!
We love to make the most of everyone's unique skillset, so if there's something you particularly love or are good at, please let Joely know in your response. Whatever you bring, your help will make such a difference! Please join us in delivering opportunities to vulnerable adults first-hand, or raising much needed money for our cause - ending rural homelessness in East Somerset.
We look forward to hearing from you!

About Root Connections CIC
As an organisation our mission is to improve health and wellbeing for adults with complex needs primarily those who are homeless and rough sleeping.
All profits and proceeds quite simply go toward our aim to help end homelessness in Mendip.
We value local, ethical and chemical free growing principles. The community garden has a significant number of committed volunteers who help grow the produce that enables us to fulfil our mission.
