Summary

We are looking for volunteers to assist our team in preparing our aviaries for the spring season - painting, cleaning, making bird feeding stations

Detailed description

We are looking for volunteers to assist our team in preparing our aviaries for the spring season ahead during various weeks in February. You may only be available for one day during this time period, or you may wish to help for a few days. Any help is truly appreciated!

Aviary Preparation may include tasks such as:

  • De-cobwebbing,
  • Applying Patio Magic
  • Cleaning ceiling mesh (removing or power washing, whichever is applicable)
  • Roping up of perches
  • Making bird feeding stations

All volunteers will be provided with the correct PPE and RPE (Respiratory Protection Equipment - face masks). All volunteers will be required to wear face masks during this project, so you will be face fit tested to ensure the mask you are provided with is correctly fitted for you.
