Seeking a volunteer with near native proficiency in Chinese language to help us catalogue books in our library from China and other Chinese speaking regions.
The Museum has gradually been working on the cataloguing of its large collection of books about East and Southeast Asian art, history, and culture.
As a large portion of our books are from China and written in Chinese script, we need the assistance of a native of near native reader to help us input these texts into our cataloguing system.
Volunteers will gain valuable experience in a heritage setting, the opportunity to look at an incredible range of books about East Asian history, and other benefits.
