Could you be part of a team providing a welcoming and friendly environment to people living with and affected by MND at a support group?
Working as part of a team at your role may include some or all of the following tasks, these provide a vital role in freeing up our staff and support volunteers to provide direct support:
- Set up/clear up of the meeting space
- Preparing refreshments
- Serving refreshments
- General conversation
- Record keeping
- Taking photos
We currently run support groups on a monthly basis in the Taunton and Yeovil areas as well as aiming to launch a group in the Frome area this year.
At the MND Association our vision is a world free from MND. We operate across England, Wales and Northern Ireland with two volunteer led branches operating in Somerset.
