"Can you help Minehead Museum? Minehead Museum is looking for people to help out who: - like talking to people about Minehead and the area - could get creative with displays - enjoy social media (facebook, etc) and websites - take awesome photos of Minehead that we could use - are interested in conservation Or in a role that we haven't thought of - what skills and experience could you bring?" The Museum is located on the Ground Floor in The Beach Hotel.
Minehead Museum is a registered charity providing free access to a unique collection relating to the social and cultural history of Minehead and Alcombe.

Whether you are here for your holidays or living nearby, there is something of interest for everyone, here at our unique museum in The Beach Hotel, opposite Mineheads Steam Railway station.
Experience the fascinating history of Minehead and Alcombe and discover the history of the Hobby Horse, the famous Swimming Pool, The Great Fire, world-famous author, Sir Arthur C. Clarke, the Lifeboats and the Pier, which was dismantled in WW2. Plus many other exhibits.
The museum is located within the Beach Hotel, opposite Minehead railway station. Entry is through the Information Centre at the Beach Hotel.
Open mid March to end of October. Open every day, except Mondays, from 10am to 4pm, and from 11am to 4pm on Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays. The Museum is open on Mondays during the holiday season.
Minehead Museum is staffed and managed entirely by volunteers and new volunteers are always welcome."
