About Martock Parish Council

There are lots of volunteering opportunities within the activities run by the Parish Council, but we are in specific need of 1 or 2 volunteers to support our Wednesday Group, a social support group for residents of Martock. This is a great opportunity to be part of this supportive social group.
We are looking for a caring and motivated person who can engage with a wide variety of people in a non-judgemental and supportive way; to support members to engage in the activities or be a listening ear to those who have simply come for a cuppa and chat; to help develop the group and encourage an ethos of peer support, where every member feels they have something to contribute.
