As a Hospital Companion you'll support a different person each - offering emotional care, companionship, and a calming presence.
Availability: Weekday mornings or afternoons
We're seeking compassionate volunteers who live within 30 minutes of any of the following locations:
- Minehead
- Crewkerne
- South Petherton
- Williton
- Wincanton
- Frome
Spend time with someone new each week, offer emotional support and companionship, share helpful info and connect families to local services.
Help shape a brand-new service that truly matters.
Why you'd be a great fit:
- Empathetic, patient and a good listener
- Respectful and inclusive
- Able to commit to 3 hours p/week
- Comfortable using basic IT tools (Email and/or Microsoft Word)
- Willingness to learn
