Become a Hospital Companion Volunteer with Marie Curie at Musgrove Park Hospital
Companion Volunteers provide emotional and practical support at Musgrove Park Hospital, Taunton
Support a different person each week - offering emotional care, companionship, and a calming presence when it’s needed most.
Availability: Up to 3 hours per week - flexible to suit your schedule
What you'll do:
- Spend time with someone new each week
- Offer emotional support and companionship
- Share helpful info and connect families to local services
- Help shape a brand-new service that truly matters
- Complete a basic report after each visit
- Participate in regular wellbeing sessions, team meetings, and refresher training
