Detailed description
Would you like to gain experience in forest school and environmental education? We are looking for volunteers to help with Forest School sessions and education sessions at Yeovil Ninesprings.
Tasks would include:
Setting up before the sessions, packing away after.
Supervising the campfire, helping with campfire cooking and refreshments for participants.
Helping children with activities such as bug hunting, pond dipping, crafts, story telling.
You would be working with children of a range of ages and their accompanying parents and/or school staff. Training and refreshments will be provided.
After you have been a regular volunteer for 6mths+ you will also receive a uniform, Ninesprings Café discount card and invitations to social events. The regular forest school sessions are Wednesday mornings, for preschool children with families, and there are other ad hoc events throughout the year with schools, preschools and public events.
