If you have a skill you would like to bring to the farm and share with our students, please get in touch!
Detailed description
We are a small farm based in West Ashton, Trowbridge, whose main purpose is to work with children and adults with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND). We have horses, donkeys, goats, pigs, sheep, a variety of poultry, rabbits and guinea pigs. We also have an area where we practice carpentry and other practical skills, have two growing areas (a polytunnel and outdoor beds), a small orchard and a pond. We also back directly on to Biss Woods, so have the ability to go for nature walks in the woods.
We are looking for people that have a skill they'd like to share with our students. It could be woodwork/carpentry, felting, leatherwork, landscaping, working with willow or any other art, craft or skill you love.
If you have:
- a skill to share
- would like to share it with others
- have experience of working with students with learning or emotional challenges (desirable)
- are flexible with your time
please get in touch to find out more!
