About Jospehine's star

At Josephine's Star, we offer support to children and their families in Somerset when someone special has died. We are small charity; formed by a group of professionals who know how important it is for children to have the opportunity of help and support in their grief. We provide one-to-one support, based around six, one-hour support sessions. In each session we work with the child to explore their grief and help them to develop coping strategies. All of our work is done in conjunction with the families, carers and schools to ensure the most positive outcome for the children and young people.
