Treasurer Role at Hamdon Youth and Family Centre

The Impact:

As the Treasurer, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping the future of our Centre. Your financial oversight will ensure the smooth running of activities and the sustainability of our efforts to create a positive space for young people and their families. You’ll directly contribute to the success of community events, programs, and projects that impact local lives.

The Mission:

Hamdon Youth and Family Centre aims to revitalise the space for young people, hoping to bring back the weekly youth club by 2025 and enhancing community engagement. By managing the financial aspects, you’ll be part of a passionate team working to make these initiatives a reality.

Responsibilities:

You will work closely with our Chair and Secretary to oversee the Centre’s finances, ensuring accountability and transparency. The role involves tracking income, expenses, and ensuring all financial records are up to date.

Duties Include:

  • Ensuring invoices are paid on time
  • Tracking and reporting on the Centre’s budget
  • Managing fundraising funds
  • Preparing financial reports for the committee

What You’ll Gain:

You’ll be working alongside two newly appointed and enthusiastic leaders, gaining valuable experience in non-profit financial management. This is a chance to make a tangible difference in the community, while expanding your skills and knowledge in a supportive, mission-driven environment
